Short summary of the last decade I guess? (Mostly I just don't want the update from 2007 on my main page anymore.)
Well to college, got into rock climbing and lead an outdoors club, graduated college with a biology degree, got my research published, got an NSF fellowship, currently pursuing a PhD in Colorado. I do art as a hobby still but not as much. I want to get back into sharing that art, but we'll see. Apparently my wacom tablet is not actually dead.

I drop out of deviantart, along with pretty much any internet community, every few months. Thus, my absence. I haven't been drawing as often as I could. Art just happens to be halfway enjoyable halfway exasperating for me. And I'm not talking about creative difficulty, I'm talking about aughI'mbored. Writing is really my thing, but if there's one thing dA makes me uncomfortable about it's putting my writing out there. Too easy to be stolen. Yes, I'm paranoid, and no, I have no delusions that anyone would feel inclined to steal my art.
Anyways.

1. I've got a story for every piece of my jewelry, most of which were gifted to me in some way.
2. Very few people are allowed to hug me or touch my hair. There is little logic to my restictions. It's not if one's known me longer or is closer to me or gives better hugs/braidshairstuff. I'm just picking and an obnoxious way.
3. I download fonts obssessively. At last count, I have 400 or so.
4. I am easily distracted by writing of any kind. I find the standardized test writing interesting enough, I can be consumed by wikipedia just by reading and clicking links out of curiousity, and I usually spend any internet time given to me by school re
